Security & Fire Safety

Dial 911

Once you have settled into your room, note the floor plan and fire exits as well as the location of the Fire Extinguisher & alarms. Memorize the location of at least two fire exits, including which side of the hall they are on. It will help to count the number of doors to the nearest exit.

  • Always keep your doors locked and ensure that they are closed.  

  • When you go out to the patio, ensure that the door is unlocked so you don't get locked out.

  • DO NOT SMOKE IN THE ROOM.

  • In the event of a fire, exit the building immediately and get away from the building. Stay low or crawl toward your exit to avoid smoke or odorless carbon monoxide. Proceed quickly, holding the wall for secure footing.

Local Calls Only

  • Room phones have the ability to call within the property, 911 and local numbers only.  

  • LOCAL is only in the immediate Hancock, MA area. You will need a cell phone or a calling card to make long distance calls. 

  • Calling cards can be purchased on Amazon and delivered to your email.

Severe Weather & Power Outages

Here in the Northeast we do experience some extreme weather throughout the seasons. Occasionally, extreme weather does cause area power outages. Please be advised that we will do everything we can to notify the utility that it is imperative that our power is restored as soon as possible. Most often, power is restored within a couple of hours. In the event of a power outage please be advised:

  • There will be no heat or hot water.

  • Emergency lighting in the hallways will only last for a small amount of time. 

  • All amenities at the clubhouse will be closed until the power is restored. 

  • The Front Desk will communicate important messages to you via text message.

Jetted Tubs (A & C units Only)

Please do not use after 10pm

  • Fill tub above jets and intake port.

  • Push the button to start the jets. 

  • Push the button again to stop the jets

Please do not use bubble additives.

Please do not bath pets in jetted tubs.

Linen, Towel Exchanges & Deliveries
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 10am - 4pm

The resort is happy to exchange towels, bed linens & kitchen linens on exchange days. We can also deliver room supplies such as paper products and soaps. Please contact the Front Desk to set up an exchange or supply delivery and then place the items for exchange in the provided laundry basket outside your door, in the small foyer.

Towels/Linens to be exchanged must be put in foyer or new clean items will not be delivered.

If you need supplies on days other than Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, please stop by the Front Desk to pick them up.

Pet Friendly For Owners Only
Extra fees & prior authorization apply

The resort offers a limited amount of pet-friendly rooms in a specific area of our property. 

  • Your pet must weigh less than 35lbs.

  • A $175/$350 fee will be collected for 1 or 2 bedroom units. 

  • Pets are not allowed in common areas.

  • Pets must be leashed at all times. 

  • Current vaccination records will be required prior to check in. 

  • Violation of this policy and failure to report a pet to the resort will result in a $500 cleaning fee and the resort reserves the right to cancel a reservation where any unused time & payments will be forfeited.

Check-Out 

10am Check-Out

Late Check-Outs will result in $125 Fee

As you prepare to depart, please assist us in the following ways:

  • Express Checkout-just leave your keys in the room, we will check you out automatically. 

  • Place all bagged trash in the outdoor receptacle near the building entrance. 

  • Recycling can be deposited in the blue receptacles throughout the property.  See Map.

  • Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start (A & C units).

  • Wash and dry dishes (B units).

  • Place all remotes on the TV cabinets.

  • Late Check-Outs are not permitted.

**A minimum $75 charge will apply for rooms left excessively dirty **

 

Quiet Hours

10pm - 8am

For the comfort of all guests, quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am. During this period, voices, televisions, jetted tubs, washers & dryers and room activity must be kept at a respectful low level. Doors should be opened and closed quietly and there should not be any running or congregating in hallways, building entryways, or building grounds areas.

No Party Policy & Illegal Conduct

Zero Tolerance

Birthday parties, pool parties, room parties, BBQ parties, and any other type of large gathering are not permitted. Illegal conduct of any kind will not be tolerated. The Police will be notified immediately of suspicious activity. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in termination of the reservation, forfeiture of payment, notice of trespass and police escort from the property immediately.

Maximum Guests & Visitors

4 People - 1 Bedroom Room

8 People - 2 Bedroom Room

To ensure that all our guests enjoy a comfortable stay and due to fire codes, we ask that overnight guests not exceed a maximum of 4 people per one-bedroom suite and 8 people per two-bedroom suite and must be registered. If you have day visitors, they must be registered to use the facilities and cannot exceed the 4- or 8-person room occupancy limit. Should you fail to register any visitors a fine of $100 per guest will be assessed to your account. Failure to adhere to this policy will also result in termination of your reservation, forfeiture of your payment and you will be asked to vacate the property immediately.

No Smoking & Room Damages

No Smoking in any Room

Smoking pertains to any type of tobacco or smoking product. Smoking is not permitted in our rooms. If we detect smoke in your room a $250 charge will apply. The resort requires a $150 security deposit at check-in, in the form of a Credit Card. If there are damaged items in your room, you will forfeit your security deposit.

Wildlife & Insects

Be aware that we are in a rural area and with the beauty of the seclusion also comes the risk of encountering wildlife and outdoor pests. Please be alert when you are out and about. We are known to have bear, fox and deer on property from time to time. Also, please dress appropriately when walking around the property to avoid an interaction with ticks. Bug repellant that contains DEET or picaridin is best. Check yourself thoroughly after your outing. Ticks like to hide in armpits, groin areas and in your scalp. A quick shower may help remove ticks that have not attached themselves yet. If you have been bitten by a tick, seek medical attention.

Packages

The resort is happy to accept a minimal amount of packages on your behalf but please be aware of a few important notes:

  • FedEx or UPS is the preferred method of shipment

  • USPS packages pose a bit of a delay as we are so remote and we do not have USPS delivery to the property. A team member will need to drive to pick up the package and this may delay the package's estimated delivery date. 

  • Please ensure that your name is in the address. We will "Return to Sender" the package if we cannot identify who it belongs to.

Safes

  1. Begin with an open safe

  2. Place your items in the safe, close the door.

  3. Enter a unique 4 digit code and "LOCK" to activate the lock.

  4. Reopen by entering your 4 digit code.

DVD Player & TV Inputs

DVD Player

  • Open DVD player and place disk-close DVD Player.

  • Using your TV Remote, select the INPUT button and select DVD or one of the HDMI input options until you see the DVD content on your TV.

Other Inputs

  • Using an HDMI cable, connect your console to the TV.

  • Plug in the power and turn on your console.

  • Select the INPUT button on your TV remote, select HDMI input options until you see the console content on your TV.
