About

The Berkshires region is famously known for its theatre, art, culture and the many music venues in the summer months but did you know that the Berkshires

is a four-season vacation destination?

Every season has something very special to offer.  Our Spring is stunning with everything waking up from Winter!  This is a favorite time to visit us to unwind and just relax or take in some fresh air by hiking, biking, and exploring!  Things begin to ramp up for the Summer and you can fill your thrill at nearby Jiminy Peak or Ramblewild for some exciting activities like ziplining or racing down Jiminy Peak on their Mountain Coaster!  If theatre and music are your thrills, you will be overwhelmed with the many different theaters nearby and the schedule of musicians at Tanglewood is fantastic!  If you like the arts and culture, then you will not be disappointed.  Mass MoCA, Clark Art, and Hancock Shaker Village are must-see attractions in the Berkshires!  Even if you have visited them before, they are sure to have a new exhibit or one that you may have missed the first time.  Check them out!

Take a short drive through the surrounding area and visit some farmer’s markets or fruit stands or even do some antiquing!  There is so much to do in the Summer!  Fall in the Berkshires is beauty at its finest.  The picturesque views from the property alone will leave you speechless and awestruck!  Visit Ioka Valley Farm just down the road for some fall fun with pumpkin picking and a tractor ride!  Stop by our front desk for directions to the area’s wonderful farm stores for some fresh pies. Visit Lakeview Orchard to pick your very own apples!  From cider to pies to fresh apples, the Berkshires has something for everyone in the Fall!  The Winter is a special time in the Berkshires.  From downhill skiing at Jiminy Peak, Butternut, or Bousquet Ski Areas to cross country skiing at Hilltop Orchards, Canterbury Farm, or Notchview, you can certainly find enough terrain to keep you busy for the week or more!  If cold weather outdoor activities are not for you, enjoy some year-round inside things such as shopping at Lee or Manchester Outlets, a day at the Berkshire Museum, or Norman Rockwell Museum!

Don’t forget to try some of the staple restaurants and eateries in the Berkshires such as Mazzeo’s & Haven Café & Bakery in Southern Berkshire County, Coyote Flaco & Mezze Bistro & Bar in Williamstown, and Patrick’s Pub & Mission Restaurant in nearby Pittsfield.
